Portal machining centre – FVCH

FVCH is a machining center with a fixed portal contruction and a vertical ram travel. Compared to the FVC machine, the FVCH machine is characterized by a reinforced construction, a new robust construction with increased headstock rigidity designed for complex high-performance power machining of difficult-to-machine materials using high torque and power. A mechanical drive is used to obtain high torque. The part is clamped to a longitudinally movable table. With a suitable choice of design and other accessories, the machine can work as a milling, drilling, boring or turning center, in a 3-5-axis design. The machine is designed not only for machining workpieces of medium to larger dimensions, but also for smaller shape-demanding parts. The modular system of the FVCH machine design allows the machine to be assembled in a wide range of dimensions, both in width and length and machine parts from five different sides, the machine can be equipped with a 2-axis head in a design with indexing or with the possibility of continuous 5-axis control. The machine can be equipped with a wide range of accessories and can be used by most companies engaged in the machining of both metal and non-metal materials.
